Terms & Conditions

Version 1.0 · Issued October 31, 2026

Who provides this project

Tak Lo, operating as ShapeShift Studio provides Family Feud to run a host/contestant game and shared scoreboard. Questions: shapeshiftstudio2026@gmail.com. These terms cover this project; separate third-party services and any signed business agreement have their own terms.

Permission and fair use

You may use the functions made available to you for their stated purpose, subject to applicable law and any access permissions or separate licence. Access does not transfer ownership of software, artwork, documentation or branding. Original rights, employer/customer rights, open-source licences and third-party rights remain with their respective owners. Do not resell or redistribute material without the rights or permission to do so; statutory and licence exceptions still apply.

Use only credentials and records you are authorized to use. Protect access codes and invitations. Do not bypass security, access another person's private information without authority, cheat or disrupt shared play, harass others, distribute malware, infringe rights or use the service unlawfully. Report suspected misuse through Contact & reporting.

Your content and shared information

You keep the rights you already have in material you submit. You authorize only the processing, storage, display, transmission and backup reasonably needed for the features you request, as described in the Privacy Policy. Enter information about others only with appropriate authority. People who receive a shared report, photo, message or export may keep their own copies.

Important limitations

For entertainment. Scores and simulated rewards may be corrected or lost. Take breaks and stop if play causes discomfort. Third-party names and marks remain their owners' property; this independent project does not claim their endorsement.

Information, calculations, automated suggestions and game results may be incomplete, incorrect, delayed or unavailable. Keep copies of records you cannot afford to lose. Network features depend on your connection and their providers. No uninterrupted service, guaranteed result, security certification or support response time is promised here.

Families, children and shared play

A parent or guardian should supervise children's participation and information choices where needed. An organizer must obtain any required permission before entering another person's information. Do not post children's real names, private photos or identifiable scores to shared areas without appropriate authority. These terms do not claim that a child can enter a binding contract by playing.

Fees, rewards and business licences

These terms do not create a subscription, recurring charge or paid business licence. Any actual paid offering must disclose its price, currency, taxes, term, renewal, cancellation and refund conditions before purchase or authorization. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply. A separate written agreement is needed for commercial service commitments. A simulated score, balance or reward is not a cash entitlement; actual organizer-sponsored prizes need their own rules.

Stopping use, changes and access restrictions

You may stop using the project at any time. Removing an app or clearing local storage does not necessarily delete shared/server records; see the Privacy Policy. Access may be restricted where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention or discontinued features, subject to law and any specific agreement. Where required, notice, export opportunities, renewed acceptance or consent will accompany material changes. A new privacy purpose is not authorized merely by editing this page.

Legal rights and disputes

The project is offered on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. Nothing here excludes or limits a right, remedy, warranty, duty or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or limited. These terms impose no blanket liability waiver, compulsory arbitration, class-action waiver or unilateral indemnity. Applicable law and any valid separate agreement govern any dispute; no forum is imposed that overrides mandatory rights.

Contact us first if you want help resolving a concern. You retain the right to contact an appropriate regulator or court. If part of these terms cannot lawfully apply, the remaining provisions apply to the extent permitted by law.
